North Central Florida Zone Rally

On Saturday, October 21, 2017, Trinity will be hosting the North Central Florida Zone Rally. We have invited all of the churches within our zone, and we encourage all of our women at Trinity as well as their guests to consider attending this inspirational rally. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. There is a registration fee of $8.00 that includes a continental breakfast and lunch. If paying by check, please make it payable to North Central Florida Zone.

After the rally, Pastor Blair will officiate a communion service at 9:00 a.m., where we will have the opportunity to worship with our LWML sisters. We will serve lunch in the fellowship hall, after which our guest speaker, Yolanda East, executive director representing Shepherd’s Lighthouse, will speak. We are asking for donations of paper products for our ingathering of “Gifts from the Heart” that will help residents become self-sufficient, productive people in society. For planning purposes, please look for a sign-up sheet in the narthex as the date approaches. Details will also be available in the weekly bulletins. Please take a few moments to visit the Shepherd's Lighthouse website for more information.

Blessing in Disguise

Although Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount is well known, His Sermon on the Plain packs a powerful message that is both challenging and comforting. Unique to our Lord’s sermon in Luke, His four beatitudes are paired with four jolting condemnations. This insightful, four-week course will probe the depths of the Bible to discover Christ’s power and encouragement for today’s Christians!

A Complaint-Free World

Have you ever wanted to be a happier person, improve your health, have better relationships, and live a complaint-free life? Does this sound too good to be true? You will be amazed at the transformation that can take place in Christ as you seek to change your words, change your thoughts, and live out the challenge found in living a complaint-free life through the power and grace of God’s Holy Spirit. This four-week study of Will Bowen’s work, Living A Complaint-Free World, will begin Sunday, October 1.

Rally Days

Remember many years ago when Rally Day meant the beginning of another Sunday School year and promotion to the next grade level? Well, this is a different kind of Rally Day—it is the beginning of a new era at Trinity.

Starting October 8, we will begin offering two new Sunday School classes: “Blessings in Disguise” and “Living a Complaint-Free Life.” These were the top two selections made by the congregation on the recent Board of Christian Education survey.

Be sure to sign up for one of the two, four-week classes during the coming weeks so we know how much literature to order. And by the way, if you want to attend both, we will offer the classes again starting in January.

In addition, starting the first week of Advent, we offer a class on the history and development of Advent and the Christmas tradition as we now know it.
