Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service
Wednesday, November 21 at 4:00 p.m.
This year's Christmas Cantata, entitled "When God is a Child" and arranged by our Director of Music Dennis Crowley will be presented on Sunday, December 2 at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m.
To allow all to come to the Cantata, we are canceling the Saturday, December 1 service and Sunday, December 2 Trinity South service.
We welcome all women of Trinity and guests to attend our November 27 LWML meeting at 1:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Pastor Blair, our pastoral counselor will lead us in meaningful devotions. Our guest speaker will be Linda Kafader, director of the Community of Gratitude, Emergency Food Center in nearby Ocklawaha. Many of you donate to this board of human care mission, and you will be able to learn more about this beneficial organization by attending our meeting. We’re asking for our "Ingathering" that each of you bring a can of food (hint: they always need fruit, potatoes, soup, and spaghetti sauce). Also, bring a favorite recipe that includes your name and where you moved from, and we will compile the recipes to give out at our January meeting. We will hold a short business meeting, and afterwards, our gracious hosts always serve delicious refreshments. We hope you will come and join us, learn who we are, and become a part of the activities we are planning in the future.
Your Mite Box offerings have made an impact! Our LWML logos for mite boxes have changed over the years. However, Trinity’s dedication giving steadfast Mite offerings every month has never changed. The purpose of the Mite Box is to reach out to others with the "Good News of Jesus Christ". Trinity’s LWML is part of the North Central Zone in the Florida Georgia District, and the total mission grants voted on and passed were 18. Of the 18 grants, 11 were fully funded and the 12th partially funded. There are 193 churches that have a participating LWML in our district. Trinity was listed at the top in their giving during the 2016–2018 biennium with the generous amount of $10,734.84. Your Mite Box contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund district and national mission grants and accomplish this LWML program. Thank you to everyone at Trinity for showing his or her loyalty to our Mite Box offerings.
Photo session sign-ups for our photo directory will open on Monday, September 17. Sessions will be in October 2018, January 2019, and February 2019. To schedule your appointment, please see our Lifetouch appointment scheduling page.
