What could be better than enjoying a good book under the ceiling fan on your porch or lanai with a cool glass of lemonade? To help you facilitate this wonderful vision, here are our book club suggestions for the summer. Remember, we meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in classroom one.
- May 7: The Echo of Old Books by Barbara Davis – Ready for a good romance novel?
- June 4: Killers of a Certain Age by Deanne Raybourne – How about a dark comedy about a 60+ year old lady-terrorist?
- July 9: This Tender Land by William Kent Kruger – Here’s a historical novel about four Indian children who manage to run away after being separated from their parents to be educated in the American way.
Please join us for any discussion even if you haven’t finished the book. Questions, please contact Carol Keenan.
